Damn Khalifa is really blowin up hard!  It’s crazy to believe just a year and a half ago he was willing to come to cincy to perform for <2k.. now he probably gets 5 or 6 times that.  Drake reached out to Wiz over his u-stream asking if he would join him on his Lightdreams & Nightmares Tour and Wiz had this to say:

“Just the fact of cuz even extending his hand and me being on his radar is tight, to me. It just lets me know that I’m doin’ what I need to be doin’ as far as stayin’ relevant and stayin’ poppin’. But I think to keep me poppin and keep me relevant I gotta stay buildin’ on top of what I’m doin’ and what I been doin’. No disrespect to cuz or anybody else who might wanna see me do some more collaborative things, but to keep buildin’ and keep my brand as strong as what it is, I gotta keep focusin’ on what it is. This is my first tour that I got comin’ up, the Waken Baken tour, I gotta at least kick that off and make that it what it is so we can do ten more.” (2dbz)

“Behind bars but the bars don’t stop…”

As all of you probably know, Weezy is still stuck behind bars at the Rikers Island Correctional Facility. Most of Drake’s new album Thank Me Later was done way before wayne went behind bars but there still were a few unfinished tracks. One of the tracks wayne never heard completed was ‘Light It up’ featuring Jay Z. To make a long story short, wayne heard the completed song on the radio in jail, his manager was clowinin and said Jay spit a hotter verse then Wayne ever could, wayne said “call back tomorrow and I’ll have a verse ready”, they called back and wayne recorded a verse over the prison telephone… Drizzy….Jay….Weezy on one song, yeah, you bet it’s fuckin’ flame.
